You can also come up with something that is meaningful to you and to those that you love. Everyone has a cause that is close to their heart, and this cause is often something that has touched their life in some way. When you by this ribbon or anything that supports this cause, money goes towards finding not only treatments for Autism, but also to find out why it is occurring so often in our children in the hopes we can find a way to prevent it in the future.

No matter what your cause, you can usually find awareness ribbon pins  for conditions and diseases that have no cure or that are becoming more problematic in our world. If you feel strongly about something, you don't have to buy a pin to give money. You can just write a check or volunteer your time for fundraisers. The pins are great to spread awareness, meaning those that see them remember that foundations need money and research is still needed. This can spur people to give when they decide they want to give to a cause. It might as well be the one that you believe in and support.
